I am Professor of Health Services Research at the University of Sheffield, UK, and Honorary Professor in the School of Psychology & Neuroscience at the University of St. Andrews, where I worked from 2001 until joining CATCH in 2013. I am also Ontario Shores Research Chair in Community Management of Dementia and Associate Professor in the School of Psychiatry at the University of Toronto.

For over 20 years I have worked with older adults in both clinical and research settings to develop novel interventions to enable people to live and age as well as possible. My work includes the creative application of technology and I have a particular interest in supporting people to live well with a dementia diagnosis.
