Biography

Jenni  is a CBT Psychotherapist and Occupational Therapist with a background in NHS adult and older adult mental  health services, who has worked with people who experience a combination of physical and mental health problems since 1999.

She currently works within the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals Trust Community Services with people who have a respiratory and/or cardiac problem; and are experiencing anxiety and/or depression in relation to their physical health problems.  Jenni has training in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and CBT for Insomnia (CBT-I).  

She also teaches one day a week at Sheffield University Psychology Department; providing training to CBT Psychotherapists on working with people who experience physical health conditions.

This is Jenni’s first experience in a research role. Beginning January 2017 on a secondment for 6 months. Jenni completed a module on clinical research for health care workers at Sheffield Hallam University as part of a Post Graduate Diploma.
