Biography
I am a Senior Research Fellow in Health Services Research at the University of Sheffield, with experience in Human-Computer Interaction, User-Centred Design, Development of New Technology, and Evaluation of Technology in Health Care.
I am Module Lead for Complex Evaluation Methods (Masters in Clinical Research), and convene a short course ‘Real–World‘ Evaluation: Ten Key Principles for Evaluating Complex Health and Social Interventions.
As the Health Services Research representative for Innovation and Knowledge Transfer, I am active in consultancy work with a range of public, private and 3rd sector clients.
I have a diverse ongoing programme of research, development, evaluation and service-redesign in the use of technology for healthcare, including automated data collection, electronic care records, remote monitoring and online dashboard development.
