School of Health and Related Research
- User-centred design approach
- Evaluation methods for complex interventions/settings
- Experience-centred approach
I am a physiotherapist by background and an interdisciplinary researcher. I predominately use Qualitative research, Experience-centred, Participatory and User-centred design approach to examine the experiences of living with long-term conditions and to test and develop home-based self-management and assistive technologies.
I teach non-traditional evaluation methods such as Realist Evaluation and Developmental Evaluation through a Master module and a short course. These methods examine the effectiveness of complex health interventions in real life situations.
