I gained my BSc (Hons) and Masters of Research, both in Psychology at Manchester University in 2003 and 2004 respectively. In 2005 I joined the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work, at Manchester University within the Mental Health division, where I completed a MRC/ESRC funded PhD exploring anxiety in individuals with a diagnosis of heart failure. I joined the University of Sheffield in 2011 to work within the department of Rehabilitation and Assistive Technology (RAT). I aim to engage in, and develop research that seeks to improve vulnerable group’s mental and physical health through the use of innovative technologies.
