£4.9M awarded for collaboration on the Internet of Things

CATCH academic Prof Luc de Witte has contributed to the University of Sheffield winning a £4.9M bid to enhance collaboration on the Internet of Things.

Rearranged Talk – Personal Experiences of Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) & Technology

This exciting talk, rearranged from last month and hosted by our close collaborators Barnsley Hospital, is a unique opportunity to hear the experiences of Jamie and Colin - two of Barnsley Hospital's inspirational Assistive Technology users. Jamie and Colin were both born with life-long conditions and will describe how they use technology to improve their lives.

Mark Hawley invited to speak at parliamentary group about Housing and Care

Centre Director Mark Hawley has been invited to speak at the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Housing and Care for Older People on March 26th. The group highlights the importance of the role of housing alongside social care and health in providing greater choice and more effective support in later life.
