On 22 May CATCH is hosting a special day of events, from 10.30am to 3pm, focusing on our work in one of our research themes, human communication.
Our research in this area brings together colleagues from many disciplines, such as computer science and human communication sciences in the university. We also work closely with colleagues in the NHS including speech and language therapists and clinical scientists.
The event will be held in the newly refurbished Lewin Lab in the Department of Computer Science in Regent Court. During the morning there will be a series of short talks from PhD students. This will be followed by a CATCH Networking Lunch, from 12.15pm to 2pm, with invited external speakers, good food and great company! If you are interested in working on new research in these areas, we will be holding an open meeting in the afternoon, from 2pm to 3pm, to discuss potential ideas and new collaborations.
Please do come along to find out more about the exciting research that we are doing and how you can work with us.
You can register your interest in any or all of these events using this form.
Information on getting to the Department of Computer Science can be found here. The Lewin Lab can be found on the ground floor. Go through the main doors, turn right and walk through all the doors until you find the Lewin Lab at the end of the corridor.
